N9NE Steakhouse closed
N9NE Steakhouse in Victory Park has closed.
And now, the full disclosure on how I know this:
My husband is the General Manager at Kenichi, a sushi spot in Victory below the W Hotel. Last night several N9NE staffers stopped in, possibly to drown their sorrows in sake … possibly job seeking … that, I don’t know. They told him that just following the dinner shift, they learned the restaurant would not reopen and that they were out of a job.
While this news is indeed hearsay, I have no reason to doubt it’s true.
Last summer in our ‘chefs at home’ story (yeah, here’s the East Dallas tie in) we introduced you to then-executive chef at N9NE, Chris Conlon. Conlon has since gotten the heck out of Dodge, moving to Snowmass, CO where he recently opened N9NE Steakhouse owners' new concept, Junk.

Why hasn't it aired on the news yet if it is closed. Some people still don't believe it because when you call the number it works. And the message with the woman's voice is still on the phone message.
